Sañjaya said: “In this world there is no one else who can accomplish such a feat. The divine weapons—Agneya (of Fire), Vāruṇa (of Water), Saumya, Vāyavya (of Wind), and Vaiṣṇava—are known here only to Arjuna or to Kṛṣṇa, the son of Devakī; no other person in the human realm truly knows these celestial missiles.”

Educational Q&A

The verse underscores that extraordinary power in war is not merely personal strength but specialized sacred knowledge (astra-vidyā) and divine sanction; such potency is rare and should be understood as exceptional, not commonplace.

Sañjaya, reporting events to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, praises the unmatched capability behind a remarkable martial act and emphasizes that only Arjuna or Kṛṣṇa truly know and can wield the major celestial weapons.
