इस प्रकार श्रीमह्म भारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें भीष्मको तकिया देनेसे सम्बन्ध रखनेवाला एक सौ बीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

Iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate Bhīṣmaparvake antargataṃ Bhīṣmavadhaparvaṇi Bhīṣmaṃ takiyā denena sambandhaṃ rakhanevālā ekaśataviṃśatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ abhavat.

Translation

Sanjaya concludes: Thus, in the revered Mahābhārata, within the Bhīṣma Parva, the one-hundred-and-twentieth chapter—connected with the episode of providing a pillow to Bhīṣma in the section concerning Bhīṣma’s fall—comes to an end. The closing note underscores the epic’s ethical attention to dignity and care even amid the brutality of war, honoring a fallen elder-warrior with humane regard.
