अतिविद्धः शितैर्बाणैर्भुशं गाण्डीवधन्चना । वज्जाशनिसमस्पर्शा अर्जुनेन शरा युधि
atividdhaḥ śitair bāṇair bhṛśaṃ gāṇḍīvadhanvanā | vajrāśani-samasparśā arjunena śarā yudhi ||
Sañjaya said: In the thick of battle, Arjuna—the wielder of the Gāṇḍīva bow—pierced him again and again with razor-sharp arrows, whose impact was like a thunderbolt.
