Shloka 121

भरतानां च ये पूर्वे ते चैनं प्रशशंसिरे । महोपनिषदं चैव योगमास्थाय वीर्यवान्‌,भरतवंशके पूर्वजोंने भी भीष्मजीकी बड़ी बड़ाई की। परम पराक्रमी एवं बुद्धिमान्‌ शान्तनुनन्दन भीष्म महान्‌ उपनिषदोंके सारभूत योगका आश्रय ले प्रणवका जप करते हुए उत्तरायणकालकी प्रतीक्षामें बाणशय्यापर सोये रहे

bharatānāṁ ca ye pūrve te cainaṁ praśaśaṁsire | mahopaniṣadaṁ caiva yogam āsthāya vīryavān ||

Sañjaya said: The earlier ancestors of the Bharata line also praised him. That mighty hero, having taken refuge in the Yoga that is the essence of the great Upaniṣads, remained steadfast in inner discipline—worthy of veneration for the spiritual resolve that crowns a life of duty even amid the devastation of war.
