Transliteration

yathāśrutaṃ mahārāja tad avyagramanāḥ śṛṇu | krauñcadvīpe mahārāja krauñco nāma mahāgiriḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: “O great king, listen with an undistracted mind as I relate it exactly as I have heard. In Krauñca-dvīpa, O king, there is a mighty mountain named Krauñca.”
