दशमे<5हनि तस्मिंस्तु भीष्मार्जुनसमागमे । अवर्तत महारौद्र: सततं समितिक्षय:,दसवें दिन भीष्म और अर्जुनके उस युद्धमें निरन्तर महाभयंकर जनसंहार होने लगा
daśame 'hani tasmiṁs tu bhīṣmārjuna-samāgame | avartata mahāraudraḥ satataṁ samiti-kṣayaḥ ||
Sañjaya said: On that tenth day, when Bhīṣma and Arjuna met in battle, a ceaseless and exceedingly dreadful destruction of warriors unfolded—an unbroken slaughter in the very press of combat, showing how war, once fully engaged, consumes lives without restraint.
