भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः

Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma

भवन्तं समरे वीर विषहेम कथं वयम्‌ । न हि ते सूक्ष्ममप्यस्ति रन्ध्रं कुरूपितामह,“वीर! समरभूमिमें हमलोग आपका वेग कैसे सह सकते हैं? कुरुकुलके वृद्ध पितामह! आपमें कोई छोटा-सा भी छिद्र (दोष) नहीं दृष्टिगोचर होता है

bhavantaṃ samare vīra viṣahema kathaṃ vayam | na hi te sūkṣmam apy asti randhraṃ kurūpitāmaha ||

Sanjaya said: “O hero, how could we possibly endure you in battle? O grandsire of the Kuru line, in you there is not even the slightest opening—no flaw or vulnerable point can be seen.”
