अद्येह स्वर्णमभ्येतु यच्चान्यद् वसु किंचन
adyeha svarṇam abhyetu yac cānyad vasu kiñcana
Vaiśampāyana said: “Let gold come here today, and whatever other wealth there may be as well.” The line conveys an immediate summons for material resources—typically in the context of arranging a rite or fulfilling an obligation—underscoring that wealth is being treated as an instrument for a timely duty rather than as an end in itself.
