अभवं स च तच्छुत्वा विषादमगमत्‌ परम्‌ । ः | : है डर “उनकी बातें सुनकर मेरी सारी इन्द्रियाँ व्यथित हो उठीं और पातालमें प्रवेश करके मैंने अपने पितासे यह सारा समाचार कह सुनाया। यह सुनकर पिताजीको भी बड़ा खेद हुआ

abhavaṁ sa ca tac chrutvā viṣādam agamat param |

Arjuna said: “When I heard those words, I was overwhelmed by intense grief. My senses were shaken, and I entered the nether regions to report the entire matter to my father. On hearing it, my father too was seized by deep sorrow.”
