Shloka 61
तमुवाच तथा पृष्टो मणिपूरपतिस्तदा । प्रसाद्य शिरसा विद्वानुलूपी पृच्छयतामियम्,पिताके इस प्रकार पूछनेपर विद्वान् मणिपुरनरेशने पिताके चरणोंमें सिर रखकर उन्हें प्रसन्न किया और कहा--'पिताजी! यह वृत्तान्त आप माता उलूपीसे पूछिये”
tam uvāca tathā pṛṣṭo maṇipūra-patis tadā | prasādya śirasā vidvān ulūpīṃ pṛcchayatām iyam, pitā te ||
Thus questioned, the learned king of Maṇipūra bowed his head at his father’s feet to win his goodwill and said: “Father, ask this account from mother Ulūpī.” The scene underscores filial reverence and the ethical propriety of directing sensitive matters to the one who truly knows them.
