Muñjavān on Himavat: Maheśvara’s abode, Śiva-stuti, and sacrificial gold
Chapter 8
taṁ śrutvā bhṛśa-santaptaṁ devarājo bṛhaspatim | adhigamyāmaravṛtaḥ provācedaṁ vacas tadā ||
Hearing that Bṛhaspati, the preceptor of the gods, was deeply distressed, Indra—the lord of the gods—went to him, surrounded by the immortals, and then addressed him with these words. The scene underscores a ruler’s duty to attend to the suffering of a wise counselor and to seek counsel with humility when disorder or grief arises.
