पाण्डव-वृष्णि-समागमः तथा अश्वमेध-अनुज्ञा | Reunion at the Kuru Court and Authorization of the Aśvamedha
तदस्त्रं ज्वलितं चापि पितामहमगात् तदा । ततः प्राणान् पुनर्लेभे पिता तव नरेश्वर,साथ ही वह प्रज्वलित ब्रह्मास्त्र ब्रह्मतोकको चला गया। नरेश्वर! इस तरह तुम्हारे पिताको पुनर्जीवन प्राप्त हुआ
tad astraṁ jvalitaṁ cāpi pitāmaham agāt tadā | tataḥ prāṇān punar lebhe pitā tava nareśvara ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “Then that blazing missile, too, went back to the Grandsire (Brahmā). Thereupon, O king, your father regained his life-breath again.” The passage underscores that even the most terrible divine weapon is ultimately subject to higher cosmic authority, and that restoration of life here is framed not as human conquest but as the re-establishment of order through divine restraint and rightful resolution.
