Reunion at the Kuru Court and Authorization of the Aśvamedha

tato rakṣāṃsi sarvāṇi neśus tyaktvā gṛhaṃ tu tat | antarīkṣe ca vāg āsīt—sādhu keśava sādhv iti ||

Then all the rākṣasas—destroyers of children—fled, abandoning that house. At that very moment a voice resounded from the sky: “Well done, Keśava! Well done!”—praising him for a righteous act of protection and the removal of a cruel threat.

Educational Q&A

Protecting the vulnerable and stopping cruelty is a dharmic act worthy of praise; the ‘sky-voice’ signifies moral (and divine) approval when harm-doers are driven away and innocence is safeguarded.

After Keśava’s intervention, the child-destroying rākṣasas abandon the house and flee; immediately an aerial proclamation—‘Well done, Keśava!’—publicly commends the deed.
