Marutta Seeks a Priest: Bṛhaspati’s Refusal and Nārada’s Guidance to Saṃvarta

Chapter 6

sa tathā bādhyamāno vai saṃvartena mahīpatiḥ | anvagād eva tam ṛṣiṃ prāñjaliḥ samprasādayan |

Though repeatedly obstructed by Saṃvarta, the king did not turn back. With palms joined in reverence, he continued to follow that sage, seeking to win his favor—an image of steadfast humility and disciplined resolve in the pursuit of rightful guidance.
