वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores the ethical idea that places become truly ‘holy’ through sustained virtuous conduct: a sanctified abode is one that is frequented by puṇyakṛt—people devoted to meritorious deeds—linking moral action with sacredness and communal memory.
Vaiśampāyana describes a renowned locale associated with the Vṛṣṇi warriors, identifying it as a celebrated recreation-ground connected with great Raivataka, and characterizing it as a sanctified, well-regarded place visited by the virtuous.
