O delight of the Bhṛgus, whenever I take my course in a divine birth, I then conduct myself in every respect like the gods themselves—of this there is no doubt. The statement underscores that one’s mode of life and standards of conduct should accord with the nature and duties of the station one inhabits.

Conduct (ācāra) should align with one’s birth, station, and corresponding dharma: when Vāyudeva is in a divine mode of existence, he follows the gods’ standards of behavior fully, emphasizing appropriateness of action to one’s role and nature.
Vāyudeva addresses a Bhṛgu-descendant and explains his own rule of life across embodiments: in a divine birth (devayoni) he lives and acts like the gods, affirming this as certain and consistent.
