Adhyāya 51: Kṛṣṇa’s Leave-Taking and Departure for Dvārakā (द्वारकागमनानुमति)

कृतकृत्यश्न स तदा शिष्य: कुरुकुलोदवह । तत्‌ पद समनुप्राप्तो यत्र गत्वा न शोचति,कुरुकुलनन्दन! उस समय कृतार्थ होकर उस शिष्यने वह ब्रह्मपद प्राप्त किया, जहाँ जाकर शोक नहीं करना पड़ता

kṛtakṛtyaś ca sa tadā śiṣyaḥ kurukulodvaha | tat padaṃ samanupprāpto yatra gatvā na śocati ||

Vāyu said: “Then that disciple, having fulfilled his purpose and completed what was to be done, attained the supreme state (Brahman). O best of the Kuru line, having reached that abode, one does not grieve any more.”
