महाभूतविशेषश्च विशेषप्रतिशाखवान् । सदापर्ण: सदापुष्प: सदा शुभफलोदय:
mahābhūtaviśeṣaś ca viśeṣapratiśākhavān | sadāparṇaḥ sadāpuṣpaḥ sadā śubhaphalodayaḥ ||
Vāyu-deva said: “It is a wondrous manifestation of the great elements, distinguished by its unique branching. Ever-leafed and ever-flowering, it continually brings forth auspicious fruits.”
