स राजा सिंहविक्रान्तो युवा विषयगोचर: । अविरोधेन धर्मस्य चचार सुखमुत्तमम्,वे राजा सिंहके समान पराक्रमी और नवयुवक थे। सम्पूर्ण विषय उनके अधीन थे और वे धर्मका विरोध न करते हुए उत्तम सुखका उपभोग करते थे
sa rājā siṁha-vikrānto yuvā viṣaya-gocaraḥ | avirodhena dharmasya cacāra sukham uttamam ||
Vaiśampāyana said: That king, lion-like in valor and still in the vigor of youth, held the whole realm within his effective control. Without ever setting himself against dharma, he lived and enjoyed the highest well-being—prosperity grounded in righteous conduct rather than in transgression.
