विहगैनदितं पुष्पैरलंकृतमतीव च । सर्वर्तुकुसुमैर्वक्षै: सुखच्छायै: समावृतम्,सब ओर अनेकानेक पक्षी चहक रहे थे। भाँति-भाँतिके पुष्प उस वनकी अत्यन्त शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे। सभी ऋतुओंमें फ़ूल देनेवाले सुखद छायायुक्त वृक्ष वहाँ चारों ओर फैले हुए थे
vihagair naditaṃ puṣpair alaṅkṛtam atīva ca | sarvartukusumair vṛkṣaiḥ sukhacchāyaiḥ samāvṛtam ||
Vaiśampāyana said: The place resounded with the calls of birds and was exceedingly adorned with blossoms. All around it was covered with trees that flowered in every season, spreading a pleasant, cooling shade—an image of a serene, well-ordered natural world that supports peaceful living and auspicious beginnings.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
