उच्चैःश्रवसः वर्णविपणः तथा नागशापः
Uccaiḥśravas Color-Wager and the Nāga Curse
विष्णुरुवाच बलं॑ ददामि सर्वेषां कर्मतद् ये समास्थिता: । क्षोभ्यतां कलश: सर्वैर्मन्दर: परिवर्त्यताम्,श्रीविष्णु बोले--जो लोग इस कार्यमें लगे हुए हैं, उन सबको मैं बल दे रहा हूँ। सब लोग पूरी शक्ति लगाकर मन्दराचलको घुमावें और इस सागरको क्षुब्ध कर दें
viṣṇur uvāca balaṁ dadāmi sarveṣāṁ karma tad ye samāsthitāḥ | kṣobhyatāṁ kalaśaḥ sarvair mandaraḥ parivartyatām ||
Viṣṇu said: “I grant strength to all who have steadfastly taken up this task. Let the ocean be churned by everyone together; let Mandara be turned with full effort.” In context, the verse underscores divine support for disciplined, collective action undertaken with resolve, where power is bestowed not for idle display but to sustain a shared undertaking.
