Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how intense attraction can lead to emotional dependence, expressed through flattering speech; ethically, it invites reflection on self-control and the power of words to persuade.

A Gandharva addresses a woman with affectionate praise and urges her to come near, declaring that his very life depends on her—an overt expression of longing within the episode’s romantic tension.
