बकवधोत्तर-प्रशमनम् | Post-slaying Stabilization after Baka’s Death

राक्षस्युवाच यत्‌ ते प्रियं तत्‌ करिष्ये सव॒नितान्‌ प्रबोधय । मोक्षयिष्याम्यहं काम राक्षसात्‌ पुरुषादकात्‌,राक्षसीने कहा--आपको जो प्रिय लगे, मैं वही करूँगी। आप इन सब लोगोंको जगा दीजिये। मैं इच्छानुसार उस मनुष्यभक्षी राक्षससे इन सबको छुड़ा लूँगी

rākṣasy uvāca yat te priyaṃ tat kariṣye sa-vanitān prabodhaya | mokṣayiṣyāmy ahaṃ kāma rākṣasāt puruṣādakāt ||

The rākṣasī said, “Whatever is dear to you, that I will do. Wake up all these people along with their womenfolk. As you wish, I will free them from that man-eating rākṣasa.”
