Droṇa–Drupada Saṃvāda and Droṇa’s Reception at the Kuru Court (द्रोण-द्रुपद-संवादः; कुरुनगरप्रवेशः)

अथ विविदं प्रवक्ष्यामि धर्मतत्त्वं निबोध मे । पुराणमृषिभिरद्दष्ट धर्मविद्धिर्महात्मभि:,अब मैं तुम्हें यह धर्मका तत्त्व बतलाता हूँ, सुनो। यह पुरातन धर्मतत्त्व धर्मज्ञ महात्मा ऋषियोंने प्रत्यक्ष किया है

atha vividam pravakṣyāmi dharmatattvaṃ nibodha me | purāṇam ṛṣibhir adṛṣṭaṃ dharmaviddhir mahātmabhiḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “Now I shall set forth for you the manifold truth of dharma; listen and understand from me. This ancient principle of righteousness was directly realized by great-souled seers who truly know dharma.”
