Sukta 5
याः कृत्या आङ्गिरसीर्याः कृत्या आसुरीर्याः । कृत्याः स्वयंकृता या उ चान्येभिराभृताः । उभयीस्ताः परा यन्तु परावतो नवतिं नाव्या३अति
yā́ḥ kṛtyā́ āṅgirasī́r yā́ḥ kṛtyā́ āsurī́r yā́ḥ | kṛtyā́ḥ svayáṃkṛtā yā́ u ca anyébhir ā́bhṛtāḥ | ubhayī́s tā́ḥ párā yantu parāváto navatíṃ nā́vyā́ ati ||
What Kṛtyās be of Āṅgirasa sort, what Kṛtyās be Asuric; what Kṛtyās are self-wrought, and what indeed are brought on by others—both kinds, let them depart away, to the far distance, ninety (leagues) beyond, over by boat.
Rishi: Atharvanic/Āṅgirasa tradition (hymn-level attribution varies).
Devata: Kṛtyā (as adversary) and the expulsion-force of the mantra; no single deva invoked directly.
Chandas: Mixed/expanded Anuṣṭubh-like cadence (longer stanza with enumerations; metrical irregularity typical of AV spell-catalogues).
