यश्चकार न शशाक कर्तुं शश्रे पादमङ्गुरिम्। चकार भद्रमस्मभ्यमभगो भगवद्भ्यः
yáś cakā́ra ná śaśā́ka kártuṃ śaśré pā́dam aṅgúrim | cakā́ra bhadrám asmábhyam abhagó bhágavadbhyaḥ ||
He who hath wrought, yet had not power to work it through—his foot, his very toe hath slipped. He hath wrought good for us: luckless is he, for the fortunate.
