यं याचाम्यहं वाचा सरस्वत्या मनोयुजा । श्रद्धा तमद्य विन्दतु दत्ता सोमेन बभ्रुणा
yáṃ yācā́my aháṃ vā́cā sárasvatyā manoyújā | śraddhā́ tám adyá víndatu dattā́ sómena babhrúṇā ||
Whom I with speech do supplicate—by Sarasvatī, mind-yoked—may Faith this day obtain for me that boon, bestowed and sealed with tawny Soma.
