यश्चकार न शशाक कर्तुं शश्रे पादमङ्गुरिम्। चकार भद्रमस्मभ्यमात्मने तपनं तु सः
yáś cakā́ra ná śaśā́ka kártum śaśré pā́dam aṅgúrim | cakā́ra bhadrám asmábhyam ātmáne tápanaṃ tú sáḥ ||
He who hath wrought—whom none had power to counterwork—hath shattered foot and toe. He hath prepared for us a blessing; but for himself, indeed, a burning (for the foe).
