Sukta 22
येन हस्ती वर्चसा संबभूव येन राजा मनुष्येऽष्वप्स्व१न्तः । येन देवा देवतामग्र आयन् तेन मामद्य वर्चसाग्ने वर्चस्विनं कृणु
yéna hastī́ várcasā sambabhū́va yéna rājā manuṣyé 'śvāpsv àntaḥ | yéna devā́ devatā́m ágre ā́yan téna mām adyá várcasā́gne varcasvínam kṛṇu ||
By that whereby the elephant became possessed of splendour; whereby the king (is splendid) among men, among steeds, within the waters; whereby the Gods attained godhead in precedence—by that, to-day, O Agni, with splendour make me splendour-possessing.
