एकशतं विष्कन्धानि विष्ठिता पृथिवीमनु । तेषां त्वामग्रे उज्जहरुर्मणिं विष्कन्धदूषणम्
ékaśataṃ víṣkandhāni víṣṭhitā pṛthivī́m ánu | téṣāṃ tvām ágre újjahur máṇiṃ viṣkandha-dū́ṣaṇam ||
A hundred are the viṣkandha-plagues, set fast throughout the Earth. From them they brought thee forth, in front—the amulet, spoiler of viṣkandha.
