ví cid vṛtrásya dódhato vájreṇa śatá-parvaṇā | śíro bibhed vṛ́ṣṇinā
English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)
Even when Vṛtra shook and strove, with thunderbolt of hundred joints he clave his head asunder—by his bull-like might.
