यद् दुष्कृतं यच्छमलं विवाहे वहतौ च यत्। तत् संभलस्य कम्बले मृज्महे दुरितं वयम्
IAST Transliteration
yád duṣkr̥táṃ yác chamálaṃ vivāhé vahatáu ca yát | tát sambhalásya kambalé mr̥jmáhe duritáṃ vayám ||
English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)
What ill-performed act, what stain there be in the wedding, and what in the bringing-on—this evil we wipe away upon the sambhala’s blanket-wrap.
