Sukta 2

उत् तिष्ठेतो विश्वावसो नमसेडामहे त्वा । जामिमिच्छ पितृषदं न्यक्तां स ते भागो जनुषा तस्य विद्धि

út tíṣṭheto víśvāvāso námasā īḍāmahe tvā | jāmím íccha pitṛ́ṣadaṃ nyàktāṃ sá te bhāgó jánūṣā tásya viddhi

Up, stand thou forth from hence, O Viśvāvasu: with reverence we hymn thee. Seek thou thy proper mate, the one that sitteth with the Fathers, turned away; that is thy portion by birth—know thou that portion.
