ऋक्सामाभ्यामभिहितौ गावौ ते सामनावैताम्। श्रोत्रे ते चक्रे आस्तां दिवि पन्थाश्चराचरः
ṛk-sā́mābhyām abhíhitau gā́vau te sāmanā́v aitām | śrótre te cakré āstām diví pánthāś carā́caraḥ
With Ṛc and Sāman laid upon them, two cows came to thee as two Sāmans. Thy ears were the two wheels; in heaven were the paths—of all that moves and moves not.
