तिग्मो विभ्राजन् तन्वं१ शिशानोऽरंगमासः प्रवतो रराणः । ज्योतिष्मान् पक्षी महिषो वयोधा विश्वा आस्थात् प्रदिशः कल्पमानः

tigmó vibh­rā́jan tanvàṃ śiśā́no ’raṃgamā́saḥ praváto rárāṇaḥ | jyótiṣmān pakṣī mahiṣó vayodhā́ víśvā ā́sthāt pradíśaḥ kálpamānaḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Keen, widely shining, whetting his own form, swift-going, rejoicing in the courses; the light-possessing winged mighty one, bestower of life, hath taken his stand in all the quarters, setting them in order.
