पृथिवीं त्वा पृथिव्यामा वेशयामि तनूः समानी विकृता त एषा। यद्यद् द्युत्तं लिखितमर्पणेन तेन मा सुस्रोर्ब्रह्मणापि तद् वपामि

IAST Transliteration

pṛthivī́ṃ tvā pṛthivyā́m ā́ veśayāmi tanū́ḥ samānī́ vikṛ́tā ta eṣā́ | yád-yad dyuttáṃ likhitám arpaṇéna téna mā́ susróḥ brahmáṇā́pi tád vapāmi ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Earth—into Earth I settle thee; this body of thine is made uniform, fashioned as it is. Whatsoever shining mark, what scratched inscription, by the act of handing-over—therewith let it not run away from me: by Brahman I also shear that off.
