अयज्ञियो हतवर्चा भवति नैनेन हविरत्तवे । छिनत्ति कृष्या गोर्धनाद् यं क्रव्यादनुवर्तते
ayajñíyo hatávarcā́ bhavati náinena havír áttave | chinátti kṛṣyā́ górdhanād yáṃ kravyā́d anuvártate
Unfit for sacrifice, with splendour smitten down, he becometh; by him the oblation is not for eating: the flesh-devourer, following whom, cutteth him off from tillage and from cattle-wealth.
