यमबध्नाद् बृहस्पतिर्वाताय मणिमाशवे । तं बिभ्रत् सविता मणिं तेनेदमजयत् स्वः । सो अस्मै सूनृतां दुहे भूयोभूयः श्वःश्वस्तेन त्वं द्विषतो जहि
yámabadhnā́d bृहáspátir vā́tāya maṇím āśáve | táṃ bíbhrat savitā́ maṇíṃ ténédám ajayat svàḥ | só asmai sū́nṛtāṃ duhḗ bhū́yo-bhūyaḥ śváḥ-śvaḥ téna tváṃ dviṣatáḥ jahí
The amulet which Bṛhaspati bound on for Vāta, the swift—bearing that amulet, Savitar therewith won this, even svàr. It milks out for him fair speech again and yet again, day after day: with that do thou smite the haters.
