Thou art Viṣṇu’s Stride, the rival-slayer, whetted on Earth, of Agni’s splendour. Along the Earth I stride forth: from Earth we sunder him—who hateth us, whom we do hate. Let him not live: let breath abandon him.
Rishi: Ātharvaṇa/Angiras-type attribution is common for sapátna hymns; specific r̥ṣi not supplied in the input tradition
Devata: Viṣṇu (Krama/Trivikrama power), with Agni-tejas as auxiliary potency
Chandas: Śakvarī/Atiśakvarī complex noted in the input tradition for the extended set (25–35); this verse is part of that Viṣṇukrama series
