Narada Questions Pulastya: The Vamana Purana Begins and Satī’s Monsoon Lament

इत्युक्ता शङ्करेणाथ वृक्षच्छायासु नारद निदाघकालमनयत् समं शर्वेण सा सती

ityuktā śaṅkareṇātha vṛkṣacchāyāsu nārada nidāghakālamanayat samaṃ śarveṇa sā satī

Wahai Nārada, setelah Śaṅkara berkata demikian, Satī (Pārvatī) menjalani musim panas di bawah naungan pepohonan bersama Śarva (Śiva).
