हर उवाच किमर्थं देवतानाथौ परिभूतक्रमं त्विह मां स्तुवाते भृशास्वस्थं कामतापितविग्रहम्

hara uvāca kimarthaṃ devatānāthau paribhūtakramaṃ tviha māṃ stuvāte bhṛśāsvasthaṃ kāmatāpitavigraham

Hara berkata: “Wahai dua penguasa para dewa, mengapa kalian memuji aku di sini, padahal aku telah disisihkan dari urutan yang semestinya, dan aku sangat gelisah, tubuhku tersiksa oleh panas nafsu?”
