Skanda Upanishad 15: Verse 15

तद्विप्रासो विपन्यवो जागृवांसः समिन्धते । विष्णोर्यत्परमं पदम् । इत्येतन्निर्वाणानुशासनमिति वेदानुशासनमिति वेदानुशासनमित्युपनिषत् ॥१५॥

tad viprāso vipanyavo jāgṛvāṃsaḥ samindhate | viṣṇor yat paramaṃ padam | ity etan nirvāṇānuśāsanam iti vedānuśāsanam iti vedānuśāsanam ity upaniṣat ||15||

Translation

Kepada (kedudukan tertinggi) itu para vipra—para penyair ilhamiah, para pemuji yang mulia, dan mereka yang terjaga—menyalakan (api batin) menuju-Nya: itulah kedudukan tertinggi Viṣṇu. Demikianlah ajaran tentang nirvāṇa; demikianlah ajaran Veda; demikianlah ajaran Veda—demikianlah Upaniṣad ini.

Academic Translation

That (highest station)—the inspired poets, the praiseworthy, the wakeful—kindle (toward it): that which is Viṣṇu’s supreme station. Thus (ends) this instruction concerning nirvāṇa; thus (ends) the instruction of the Veda; thus (ends) the instruction of the Veda—(so says) the Upaniṣad.
