सूत उवाच । इत्थं तदा समाकर्ण्य कुम्भयोनिमुनेस्तदा । कृष्णद्वैपायनो व्यासः पुनः पप्रच्छ कौतुकात्
sūta uvāca | itthaṃ tadā samākarṇya kumbhayonimunestadā | kṛṣṇadvaipāyano vyāsaḥ punaḥ papraccha kautukāt
Sūta bersabda: Setelah demikian mendengar sabda resi kelahiran kendi, Agastya, Kṛṣṇa-Dvaipāyana Vyāsa kembali bertanya, digerakkan oleh rasa ingin tahu yang suci.
