आत्ममूर्त्तौ प्रविष्टां तां ज्ञात्वा देवो महेश्वरः । शशाप दक्षं कुपितः समागत्याथ तद्गृहम्
ātmamūrttau praviṣṭāṃ tāṃ jñātvā devo maheśvaraḥ | śaśāpa dakṣaṃ kupitaḥ samāgatyātha tadgṛham
Mengetahui bahwa ia telah masuk ke dalam wujud hakikinya sendiri dan meninggalkan raga, Dewa Maheśvara murka. Ia datang ke rumah Dakṣa dan menjatuhkan kutukan kepadanya.
