विधाय लेखनीं कर्णे चित्रगुप्तो यमाज्ञया । ततो हूता गणाः सर्वे ये नीता धरणीतलात्

vidhāya lekhanīṃ karṇe citragupto yamājñayā | tato hūtā gaṇāḥ sarve ye nītā dharaṇītalāt

Atas perintah Yama, Citragupta menempatkan pena tulis di telinganya, siap mencatat. Lalu semua gaṇa yang telah dibawa dari permukaan bumi pun dipanggil berkumpul.
