bṛhaspatibalaṃ gṛhya sūryaṃ saṃtarpya cottamam | vāmataḥ pṛṣṭhataḥ sarvaṃ vṛtvā saṃśodhya vāsaram
Dengan mempertimbangkan kekuatan Bṛhaspati (Jupiter), serta setelah memuja dan menenteramkan Surya yang mulia, hendaknya ia melakukan pradakṣiṇā dengan yang suci berada di sisi kiri; lalu meneliti dengan saksama dan menetapkan hari yang tepat.
