तत्सर्वं श्रोतुमिच्छामो याथातथ्येन कथ्यताम् । न ह्यन्यो विद्यते लोके त्वद्विना वदतां वरः । तस्मात्कथ भो विप्र सर्वं शुश्रूषतां हि नः
tatsarvaṃ śrotumicchāmo yāthātathyena kathyatām | na hyanyo vidyate loke tvadvinā vadatāṃ varaḥ | tasmātkatha bho vipra sarvaṃ śuśrūṣatāṃ hi naḥ
Kami ingin mendengar semuanya; hendaklah diceritakan tepat sebagaimana terjadinya. Sebab di dunia ini tiada yang lain selain engkau yang terbaik di antara para pencerita. Maka, wahai brāhmaṇa, kisahkanlah semuanya—kami rindu mendengarnya.
