एवंविधान्यरिष्टानि ददृशुर्विबुधादयः । दक्षोऽपि भयमापन्नो विष्णुं शरणमाययौ
evaṃvidhānyariṣṭāni dadṛśurvibudhādayaḥ | dakṣo'pi bhayamāpanno viṣṇuṃ śaraṇamāyayau
Melihat bencana dan pertanda buruk demikian, para dewa dan yang lainnya menjadi gentar. Dakṣa pun diliputi takut, lalu pergi berlindung kepada Viṣṇu.
