Lomaharṣaṇa/Sūta (narration to the sages, per Māheśvarakhaṇḍa convention)
Scene: A symbolic tableau: Agni at center as a radiant mouth of sacrifice; streams of oblation-light flow outward to the devas; simultaneously, a luminous tejas emerges from Agni’s mouth touching Indra and others.
Ritual principles mirror cosmic law: Agni mediates transmission—of offerings in yajña and of consequences in the divine realm.
The teaching appears within Kedārakhaṇḍa, supporting Kedāra’s Śaiva narrative context rather than naming a particular tīrtha here.
The verse alludes to yajña: havis offered into Agni ‘reaches’ all deities—affirming Agni’s mediating role in Vedic ritual.
