Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 19

तथैव ऋषयः सर्वे भृग्वाद्यश्च तपोधनाः । विश्वे च पार्षदैः साकमिंद्रो हि परमार्थतः

tathaiva ṛṣayaḥ sarve bhṛgvādyaśca tapodhanāḥ | viśve ca pārṣadaiḥ sākamiṃdro hi paramārthataḥ

Demikian pula semua ṛṣi, Bhṛgu dan yang lainnya, para kaya tapa, turut diwujudkan; juga para Viśvedevas beserta para pengiringnya, dan Indra pun, menurut wujud sejatinya.
